Innovative Organics Products for the Optics and Electro-Optics Market

Optical materials are either crystalline or amorphous (glass-like) solids that can transmit visible, ultra-violet (UV) or infra-red (IR) radiation and can be classified into four broad categories:

• Low Expansion Materials – fused silica and fused quartz, crystal quartz, mirror substrate materials

Innovative Organics offers AmberCut™ precision, biodegradable coolants, lubricants, vehicles and abrasive slurries for most types of optical materials covering the critical machining steps of sawing, grinding, lapping and polishing. AmberCut™ machining fluids are complimented with AmberClean™ biodegradable chemistries specially formulated to clean and remove process residues and trace mounting wax deposits from optical components. A special series of oil-based formulations are available for hygroscopic crystals.
