Innovative Organics Products for the Aerospace Market

The aerospace market industries demand the highest standards in fluids chemistry for the forming, machining and cleaning of metals and alloys. To meet these exacting needs, Innovative Organics has formulated the AmberLube™ Series of lubricants for aerospace metal forming applications. The AmberLube Series consists of water-based, extreme pressure lubricants used for tube bending, swaging, stretch forming and skin forming applications. AmberLube contain anti-corrosive agents and anti-wear lubricants to reduce scratching, galling and metal-to-metal contact. The “green” formulation of the AmberLube™ chemistry is completely biodegradable, does not require shop ventilation and provides high rinsability and cleanability.

AmberCut™ 383 is a 100% synthetic, non-toxic, biodegradable coolant and is designed for high-speed machining applications and AmberCut™ 426, a semi-synthetic coolant is used in heavy-duty machining processes. Both coolants incorporate extreme pressure additives, bacterial growth retardants, surface finish enhancement chemistries, system and workpiece corrosion protection and extended tool life chemistries.

AmberTap™ 22 is a water-based formulation ideally suited for tapping, drilling, boring, reaming, broaching, swaging and tube bending processes. The AmberTap 22 is easily rinsed, does not leave films or residues and is completely biodegradable.

The final cleaning of machined aerospace metals and alloys is arguably as critical a step as any of the preceding machining processes.
