Biodegradable Wire Slice Vehicle Concentrate

AmberSlice™ WSA-1 is a synthetic, wire slice vehicle concentrate specifically designed for the free abrasive cutting of silicon or ceramic materials.  It provides superior cut rates and imparts good surface finishes with reduced warp and TTV.  AmberSlice WSA-1 is designed to be blended with polyethylene glycol 200 (PEG 200) to form a wire slicing vehicle.  Slurries blended with AmberSlice WSA-1 have low dynamic viscosities, smooth flow properties, are water rinsable and will not leave films or residues.  Additionally, AmberSlice WSA-1 is biodegradable, non-hazardous and non-toxic, making it an environmentally sound alternative to oil based vehicles.
