AmberGuard™ LS1

Slurry Stabilizer and Silica Inhibitor

Specialty Fluids AmberGuard™ LS1 is a specifically formulated slurry stabilizer designed to provide a neutral (pH 7.0) environment in low-ionic, aqueous glass lapping slurries.  AmberGuard LS1 is formulated to improve abrasive setting and flow characteristics.  It is specifically designed for use with silicon carbide, diamond and boron carbide abrasives.  This unique additive also provides protection against the precipitation and agglomeration of silica during glass and ceramic lapping and polishing.
