Silicon Carbide Lapping Slurries

AmberCut™ GS series is a water dilutable, lapping slurry specifically formulated for the free abrasive lapping of ferrous metals and other metallic alloys. AmberCut GS series is unique in its ability to suspend and disperse silicon carbide abrasives at low dynamic viscosities. It is easily pumped and handled, but will not hard pack in shipping or storage. AmberCut GS slurries will remain suspended for long periods with little or no agitation. These exceptional suspension properties allow cut rates and surface finishes to remain consistent for extended periods of time. Additionally, its unique formula imparts excellent surface finishes, while inhibiting corrosion of the lapping machine and work area. AmberCut GS series are biodegradable, rinses easily with water and will not leave films or residues.
