Nickel Substrate Polishing Slurry

Abrasive Slurries AmberCut™ ASL 834 is a synthetic, water based, alumina slurry specifically formulated for the free abrasive polishing of NiP rigid computer memory disks.  AmberCut ASL 834 utilizes Saint-Gobain's specially processed alumina abrasive characterized by a tight particle size distribution which minimizes stray scratching.  This unique formula is specifically designed to enhance removal and planarization, and is recommended as a first step removal slurry.  It also incorporates special polishing additives that provide excellent surface finishes, microwaviness and roll-off.  AmberCut ASL 834 utilizes advanced dispersion technology which provides superior swarf flushing and pad life.  AmberCut ASL 834 will also eliminate micro-pitting problems encountered in free abrasive polishing of NiP substrates.
