Concentrated Aluminum Oxide Lapping Slurries

Abrasive Slurries AmberCut™ ASL series is a water dilutable, concentrated lapping slurry specifically formulated for the free abrasive lapping of silicon wafers and other ceramic substrates.  AmberCut ASL series is unique in its ability to suspend and disperse aluminum oxide abrasive at low dynamic viscosities.  It is easily pumped and handled, but will not hard pack in shipping or storage.  A 1:1 dilution of AmberCut ASL series in deionized water will remain suspended for long periods of time and is not shear sensitive.  These exceptional suspension properties allow cut rates and surface finishes to remain consistent for extended periods of time.  Additionally, its unique formula imparts excellent surface finishes with reduced TTV and scratch defects, while inhibiting corrosion of the lapping plate.  AmberCut ASL series are biodegradable, rinses easily with water and will not leave films or residues.
