AmberCut™ 389Q

High Purity Synthetic Coolant 

CoolantsAmberCut™ 389Q is a completely synthetic, water soluble coolant formulated for the thin film/MR head manufacturing industry. This unique formula contains very low levels of anion and cation contaminates such as chloride, fluoride, nitrate, sulfate, calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium making it excellent for use in clean room type environments. AmberCut 389Q is specifically designed for coolant systems utilizing deionized water where minimal substrate contamination is critical. Additionally, AmberCut 389Q combines a special corrosion protection package with a broad spectrum biocide to provide outstanding system protection. Recommended uses include cutting, slicing and griding of ceramic materials, as well as the general machining of non-ferrous metals.
