AmberClean™ 203E

 

High Purity, Waterless Cleaner

Cleaners AmberClean™ 203E is a high purity waterless cleaner formulated to replace highly flammable solvents in critical cleaning applications.  AmberClean 203E has a low surface tension that facilitates the removal of process fluids, abrasives, wax, flux and other contaminants associated with electronic components such as heads, discs, wafers and printed circuit boards. 

 

AmberClean 203E is not flammable, but can be dried from parts using clean dry air, nitrogen or other inert gases.  AmberClean 203E can be used in wipe immersion, ultrasonic or spray applications.

 

  • Low surface tension of 27 dynes / cm
  • Cleans combinations of process fluids and their residues effectively
  • Is not aggressive towards ceramic or composite materials
  • Will not leave films or residues
  • Low conductivity, <5 μS
  • Will not etch metals such as Al, Ni, Fe, Mn, Co or tin and their alloys
  • Contains no water for critical GMR requirements
  • Contains no corrosive anions, such as chloride, sulfate or fluoride
  • Biodegradable and poses no environmental or health risks
