AmberClean™ 203DR

High Purity, Waterless Cleaner

CleanersAmberClean™ 203DR is a high purity waterless cleaner formulated to replace highly flammable solvents in critical cleaning applications.  AmberClean 203DR has a low surface tension that facilitates the removal of process fluids, wax, flux, residues and other contaminants associated with electronic components such as water and printed circuit boards.  AmberClean 203DR is not flammable, but can be dried from parts using clean dry air, nitrogen or other inert gases.  AmberClean 203DR can be used in wipe, immersion, ultrasonic or spray applications.

 

  • Low surface tension of 30 dynes / cm
  • Cleans combinations of process fluids and their residues effectively
  • Is not aggressive towards ceramic or composite materials
  • Will not leave films or residues
  • Low conductivity, <5 μS
  • Will not etch Al, Ni, and Fe alloys, manganese, copper or cobalt
  • Contains no water for critical GMR requirements
  • Contains no corrosive anions such as chloride, sulfate or fluoride
  • Biodegradable and poses no environmental or health risks
